ROA
International Meet

Heartland 2018
Overland Park, KS
June 25-June 28

Overland Park, located within the Kansas City Metro area is conveniently located in the center of the US. The Double Tree by Hilton, our host hotel, is set in a quiet area surrounded by trees, grass, and many local restaurants. Our cars will be parked in a safe and secluded area designated just for the ROA.

Information on our two tours is listed on the previous page. Be sure to register early as seating on the buses is limited. In additional to the bus tours, Kansas City, MO is only 15 minutes away and offers a city center with many attractions. The most famous is the World War I Museum and Memorial. Others include a museum on the history of the Missouri River, as well as others featuring art, history, sports, and jazz. Access to these attractions is made possible by a light rail within the city.

Close to the hotel are several distilleries, a culinary center, coffee grinder, upscale shopping, and many restaurants— a number of which are within walking distance of the hotel. For those who enjoy barbecue, Kansas City is known for theirs and many barbecue restaurants are close by.

As is the ROA custom, we will have a large hospitality/ event room open every day with refreshments and activities. Check out our "Schedule of Events" for times.

On Thursday, our car show with peer judging will be on the property at the DoubleTree from 9 am–2 pm, followed by our Awards Banquet in the evening. A registration form appears on the back

The tour bus will leave the hotel at 8 am and return at noon. Children under 12 are not permitted by Plant policy.

For security purposes we must have the full name of everyone on the tour and they must bring ID. Every-one who registers with the ROA and includes the tour on their registration form will receive by email, a copy of strict guidelines set out by the plant that prohibit several personal items including cell phones, backpacks and knives. Clothing restrictions prohibit shorts, skirts or open-toe shoes.

The collection includes many antique bikes, motorcycles, related art and gas-powered toys.
